Google is introducing markup support for vacation rentals to make it easier for travelers to find lodging options. Vacation rental partners can implement structured data markup on their websites to be eligible for rich results on Google. The existing feed method is still an option for larger partners, while the markup option is recommended for smaller partners and property managers. Eligibility criteria must be met, and additional steps are required for integration. A new vacation rental rich result report in the Search Console will help monitor and verify the validity of vacation rental structured data. The Rich Results Test can be used to check the validity of markup immediately without waiting for the rich result report to update.
